Just thought I’d tell you how happy I am with the RX8 Muffler.



It fitted up like an OE product, no problems. A thought might be to include a small template to show where to cut the original pipe. I did some measuring with the guy who fitted it and we got it right … but a template would have been a nice addition to the pack. Maybe also pre-drill the small hole for the little OE earth strap.



It sounds great … doesn’t resonate and it definitely improves the flow of power. The car has less ‘ surge’ at 7000rpm, as the power to that range is smoother, so when it gets to the 7000rpm range it just ’pulls’ on. It has the familiar ‘pop’ of a rotary, during gear changes which some people may not like, but this is only when you push it through the gears. It sounds fine to this 55 year old who used to have an RX4 years ago !!
